Hi all well thanks to a suggestion I'm going to do lift out panels instead of hinged so here's what I have so far.

Looking good!!  That large engine cries out to have thrust vectoring vanes turning the exhaust to help in high-speed maneuvering.

Not too late to make a working jet engine for this project?

Like this guy on YouTube built from metal cans and other things: https://youtu.be/fkG3-jgi48I

Strictly wild ass, cut the bulb in half and use it as a pair of turrets or mounts?

Most, that is Most interesting.
Being incandescent that means good power is needed and heat results.  I'm guessing you don't light it up.

Hi all I just feel like I should apologise to all the people following my other ship builds, I've not forgotten them, I'm just having so much fun with this I can't concentrate on them, is that selfish? Sorry, I will get back to them again,  and to those who don't like what I'm doing to this, I blow raspberrys at you.

Apart from the fact that I think it needs different shades & tones of black to bring out all the different structures & lines, I think it's great! 8)

I especially like that you don't know where you're going with it & just building for fun. :)
