Great stuff, I think BAE offered Aust an enhanced strike version of the Tiffy to replace the F-111 a couple of years before we admitted that our original plans weren't going to work.

Those RAAF birds sure are sweet!

I always say we don't see enough 'roos or kiwis around here...

Well done and welcome to BtS!

Thanks Gents.

Couple of things - NOT ex-Navy, ex-RAAF, but a pusser mate on Officer Training School gave me the nickname!

Volkadav:

Not specifically to replace the F-111.  They were considered for Project AIR 600 - to replace both the "Classic" Hornet and F-111.  I was part of a small team that visited BAE, Dassault and some weapons companies in 2000 to look at options.

OK - some more of my modelling:

F35 in 2OCU Colours

Winjeel FAC

RAF Canberra (Hypothetical markings)

Angel Interceptor (shown elsewhere here) in 79SQN RAAF colours

Brit Predator

Canadian Navy Sea Fury

Brazilian Tucano

Mig-38 (Stealth)

All 1/72nd - enjoy  :D

Wow talk about some excellent whiffs!

I especially like your take on that famous Israeli camo! That baby really pops!
