Utilising the airframe of the MQ-8B Firescout, the intrepid engineers of the "Langford Fusileers"* converted several to piloted operations with the addition of a rudimentary open air cockpit. Since the aircraft had been designed from the ground up as a UAV, it lacked the normal controls a standard helicopter would require, so a hacked in game controller provided the flight control capabilities. Weight was paramount, so a lawn chair was sourced to provide seating. *The Langford Fusileers is a fictional Canadian military unit, known for improvised vehicles, unconventional tactics, and a vague definition of roles.
