Folks:
Yeah!!! I finally finished a kit. It's been months since I completed a shelf-of-doom citizen. Can you tell that I'm on vacation this week?
Here is the Kaiser Aircraft Industries TF2K-1 Wasp Trainer. Base kit is Academy Typhoon 1b with the cockpit from a PM Seafury T.61. Drop tanks from a Hurricane. Decal from F6F and spares.
Paint is a Testors spray bomb (yuk, too thick).

Liberated from shelf-of-doom (good thing) and looking USN correct. I do like it :)
With attention to color and markings, is legitimate for 1945-55.
Kaiser TF2K-1 goes well with their cars from same era.

nice one

Now that I like --- :)
I really wonder why they never really did two seat trainers of front line fighters, it would have got a lot of first timers though the transition so much more safer and maybe not have killed so many who were intimidated by them.

That's one sharp, crisp build Mr Gimper!
The yellow spinner & fuselage stripe really make this baby pop!
