Hi All, Final Push
With the plating set proceeded to paint the individual panels, then weather them to simulate chipped, damaged, riveted recovered aluminium plate.

Gerti is a well used Wellington so I have done some basic wear and tear on the airframe and also distressed the decals a bit so they don't look pristine.

Each letter of Gerti's name was cut and positioned individually, it took ages! also did my eyes in as even with some magnifiers I was working at the very edge of my vision.

I really did have some fun with this one and have started eyeing up other battered kits for a bit of whiffing treatment, unfortunately life and work will now get in the way as I will be working away from home, dragged screaming from my workbench, and will probably miss the next group build.
