atlantian warthog
« on: November 14, 2013, 11:38:50 AM »
as usual atlantia took something great and made it mental err i mean betterer
the main drawback of the warthog is its speed followed by the lack of power so atlantian engineers decided to make a swept wing variant with engines to match

some progress made still loads to do but the shape is there

Another great concept and build start  :)
Wings look F-86ish.  Is that what they are with roots cut for less sweep ?

More I look, don't think they are F-86.

I think that root cut was done for the opposite; in its origin those wings were un sweept ??? ::) But I may be wrong :D

Anyway, this is a nice concept :) :) :-*

Wow is that an outstanding modification! You're gifted with an incredible imagination coming up with this concept, mrvr6!

Your Warthog sure looks a lot sleeker and faster than the original.

BTW, your photos have a certain industrial look. Great way to accent the functionality of the A-10 design. Are they black and white or was everything in the photo shades of grey?

I like this version of the A 10.

WOW!

I love the A-10. I love the F-4. Both are amazing looking planes. I would never have thought to COMBINE THEM!!

that is an epic What If! I think it's even beyond a what-if to just a whole new level of complete engineering redesign. To me, (I may be biased...) it has a decidedly Luft '46 vibe; jets and swept wings but with an old-school bubble canopy and old fashioned "slow" tail.

Can't wait to see this one done! This is intelligent design at it's finest, thus warranting a  :icon_fsm:.
