You'll need two.  ;D

Considering how old the Hawk one is, if you can find it (I don't remember Testors ever re-popping that one), I imagine this one will be popular.  Also great whiffing material.

Looks like Testor's did sell this kit under their brand name: Testor's HH-43 Husky

Army "Ground" Force. I guess they needed the "ground" part, since it was an aircraft...on the water.

In the latest issue of Air-Britain Aviation World, there's a photo of one which was left to the elements up in Alaska. I'll re-read the caption but I think it was recovered and restored.

EDIT: The caption say the photo was taken in 1982 and it was on floats back then. It continues to say that this is the same aircraft that appeared at Air Venture last year in a restored state but on wheels.

Just appeared at ModelUA - the greatest Schnieder Cup contestant that never was...
https://modelsua.com/piaggio-pegna-p-c-7-schneider-trophy-1-48-amp48011.html

And it's in 1/48th. Not my scale, but it's fairly reasonable for a limited run kit all the same.

Doesn't someone make a conversion for that in 1/72?  Or is that for some other modified Dash 8 used by the military?

I think I have a few photo's of the Australian Coastwatch version, somewhere in my Christmas Island photo collection.

I'll have a look later, see if I can find any.

I've got this one in the stash.

While working at the airport, I saw a real one coming in for a landing.

Chalk one up to an old fart's memory, then.  Anyone know where I can purchase that conversion kit?  I've got the Dash 8 kits to use it on.
