Does anyone know of any decals released (preferably in 1/48) for modern Afghan Air Force.

Doesn't look hard to do - how big are they supposed to be?

Would depend upon platform and scale. I personally want some for a Afghan A-10 in 1/48 scale.

Not sure at the moment since my kits are in storage (damn house build ???). Anyone else have a 1/48 A-10 available to confirm?

According to the roundel site and Wikipedia the Arabic on the version you posted
translates as Afghan National Army.

Linden Hill Decals LHD48009 "L-39s of the New Great Game" includes an iteration of the Afghan roundel that doesn't seem to match any of the roundels shown on the Cocarde and Wiki pages ???, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

To be honest, I would be happy with either Army or Air Force versions as I will be able to make either work.

Aha! I actually have some of these decals - minus the Arabic script, but I am sure you could write that on with a fine pen. They are old 'Decals of the World' that Brian da Basher sent me years ago, and they'll need a spray of varnish to resurrect them! Interested?

Must have been from that pile of decals I sent to you several years ago. If I recall correctly they were made by ESCI and were printed on an orange[ish]/peach coloured paper backing :)
