Title: WW2 torpedoes
Post by: Kerick on December 26, 2015, 05:04:38 AM
LF two WW2 aerial torpedoes for a possible future project. They will be hung under wing so fairly accurate would be preferred. I can order and pay for some if someone can give me a proper direction to search. I tried Quick Boost but no joy.

White Ensign used to make some.  Not sure if they're back on the market from the new owner yet or not though.  Worth a look.

This looks really good. It includes the "pickle barrel" and the plywood stabilizer. Thanks!

Has anyone heard of ARMA Hobby? They have a Mk 13 torpedo for super cheap on their website. They are from Poland so who knows what the shipping is. Just wondering about their quality. The SIGA and Pavla seem a little hard to find right now.

There is an eight-pack of 1:72nd scale MkXIII torpedoes available from shapeways at this link: http://shpws.me/M8hu (http://shpws.me/M8hu)

A search of Shapeways (https://www.shapeways.com/) proper will net you other torpedo shapes if you are not excited about the price on the item above.
