Millennium Mandarin - Another C Foss versus Babylon 5 match
« on: November 10, 2017, 04:35:41 AM »
Hi Guys

I finally found (I think! ;))a valid alternative to Photobucket, so I have been in the process of
uploading my last 11 years of photos there, and nothing much has been done.
I hope to have everything done within the next few days!

But in the meanwhile I still had time to finish a tiny little project I had started some month ago.

Please allow me to introduce the Millennium Mandarin project.

This is a Mandarin Fish:

This is the Millennium Falcon:

And this is the Millennium Mandarin!

To finish just 2 photos of the base:

Outer space, as I imagine it...

And literally a black hole. There goes the mistery :)

Thanks for watching!

Very cool indeed. It's nice to see 'classic' designs being used as a blank canvas.

I like the idea of moving the cockpit into the body like that. Very unique - as is the colour scheme. You certainly wouldn's miss that one in space!!
2 Reasons why a model is better than a wife:
1) A model doesn't get jealous when you look at another model
2) A model doesn't yell at you for spending money on another model

Thanks for the comments!

Nice.

Postimage (www.postimage.org)
After trying flickr, imgur and 2 or 3 others, I ended up choosing this one.

But now that I have everyhting sorted out and organized, to move to another one will be quick and much faster

Lesson learned from Photobucket (and Brian Ferry/Roxy Music :) ): Nothing Lasts Forever...

Quite the plausible mods, bright paint scheme, and ingenious stand; I love all aspects of this one.  Not sure I could build one that good.

Thank you gentlemen for your remarks!

But the ultimate question remains: Is this a Chris Foss or a Babylon 5 inspired decoration?

P.S. - This time I googled some B5 ship images.....after finishing the painting :)
