Congratulations Ed, you really surprised me with this variation on the F-106. It certainly looks right and makes you wonder why it was never done in real life. Save for the fact that the F-106 was procured in limited numbers and was a dedicated interceptor to the Air-Defense Command. If it had been part of the Tactical Air Command it might have come to pass that a Thunderbirds F-106 would have flown. An aircraft that large doing aerobatics at high speed would have been something to see. I guess we have to settle for our vivid imaginations and your fine example of what could have been the ultimate Thunderbird mount.
