Database Error
« on: May 12, 2018, 06:21:46 PM »
I keep getting this error when trying to edit one of my posts:

Database Error
MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/content/54/8679554/html/Forum/Sources/Post.php
Line: 1726

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.15, while your database is at version 2.0.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

I'm on a desktop running Win 10 using Chrome.

I don't know if this is a forum issue or if it's with my ISP.

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Many thanks, Mr Gimper!

I re-booted my connection and the site took my edit.

I should've known it was my ISP. Will try to remember if this happens again.

Gratefully,
