Thanks guys, I think I've come up with a compromise, more of that soon

In the mean time here's the first mockup of the launcher.

It will probably change a some point but it looks like it will work at the moment

Thanks for looking.........

A propos of nothing (except, maybe, Carlos' car musings?), I present the 1965 Bonneville Short Wagon - a car that Pontiac was wise enough not to build  ;)

I remembered that I had a picture of a BISON kit on my PC. Now I've found it. I didn't take a photo of it myself, I found it and saved it. It was around the beginning of 2008. I don't know which manufacturer it is.

Interesting. But, yes, the manufacturer is a poser.

At first glance I wondered if it might be the Mouse House ASLAV APC conversion. But the kit in your photo looks like the entire upper hull was moulded in resin. Plus, the Bison add-on armour panels are in place on the nose. Hmm ...

Got the Dragon TWMP primed and painted. The roller thing hanging from the chain is from AEF but I don’t remember if it came with the connectors to attach it to the chain or not but either way, they are missing so will have to scratch build them.

Second reaction: "I bet babies make terrible tank crew."

30 second attention spans, fixated on boobies, poop their pants on a regular basis = basic functions of a 19 series D.A.T.

However, you may have a point as they weigh about the same as a 105mm HEAT round.

(Tangentially, I am reminded of the shoe size exchange in FARGO https://youtu.be/BouYk0Ok4g4?t=165)

Don't give the Russians ideas...

Too late, but perfect for the outta-scale builds

I got another Dragon USMC M1A1HA Baghdad kit painted today in the NATO camo to do another OIF vehicle.  This one has the snorkel adapter fitted to be used as a heat/exhaust deflector. As you can see, the .50cal still needs painting and the M240 will be added later. Also, some touchups needed on the camo but I have been doing touchups for two days now and getting tired of working on the two M1A1's. Not looking forward to doing the weathering either as my weathering skills are zero to none.

I used the Voyager snorkel resin and PE set. The rim of the snorkel adapter came snapped off but was easily fixed.

I also painted the Skif Strela. This will be a what if with a couple UB-32 rocket pods on it. I still need to paint the rocket pods and some camo touchups but not going to worry about the camo touchups. It is as is, just a flat coat then weathering.

The UB-32 rocket pods are from Reskit.

Thanks for the info, very informative.
You're more than welcome - thanks for reading it and keep up the inspirational work. We in the Peanut Gallery need appreciate it.

Thanks! Glad to hear that you enjoy my builds. I hope to get more painted and hopefully even completed but I am very slow at completing my kits. I am dependent on the weather as I can only paint outside. We have a small storage room off the side of the garage that I can now paint in but again am still dependent on the weather as half the room is underground and gets really cold in the winter. I also need to have the window open for proper ventilation. I am also taking care of elderly parents with one of them on the verge of being blind.
