Have the jet pipes been drilled out so the blowers are still operable?

...same curiosity here!

thanks all!

the idea of having an air supply is certainly excellent, but, as for the tank shown before in this thread, this is only a proptotype, not fully equipped : if anyone feels inspired by a "dynamic" version, please go ahead !  ;D

*chuckle* I keep seeing these as party favors for a party thrown by Northrop to celebrate a major sale.

if "favors" mean "gift toys", I agree completely, ericr should be the boss of Marketing department in several aircraft companies...

You really need sets of LED's, to simulate a flickering effect, in each cockpit and, where appropriate, navigator position.  Beautiful work!

for a change, and to get back to the animal hybrids, here is a windmill ostrich :

(with a propeller coming from a 1/32 Ar196 : I have two more ... have to find long necked animals as hosts  :) )

here is a companion : the flamingo :

a giraffe is just following, most obviously

And Pr Darwin would have approved: the long neck of the giraffe provide a better ground clearance thus adaptive advantage...

There's something about that rotor-assisted giraffe that just gets me. Not only is it amusing, but also very well balanced!

now it is the turn of a rocket :

from the Revell 1/144 kit, which was done OOB, nearly normally

Eric, be careful: here in France, you may be sent to jail for lack of industrial patriotism... if you had done that hilarious knot on a (ridiculous) US rocket, you would have got a honour medal, but for a proud Arianne, you may be condemned... ;)
