Armour - 1/35 Saladin, Saracen... (is there a Chaparral in 1/35?)

If you are referring to the M730 Chaparral then, yes, there is a kit or was a kit available from AFV Club listed as the M730A1 Chaparral Air Defense Missile System (kit number AF3502)

This kit has been out of production for a while but it can still be found on the shelf in some hobby shops and I have seen it here at Skyway Modelshop or Discount Models if you are serious about obtaining one I will provide you with their contact information.

Dear Airfix or ACE,
Could you do a British version of the Luft '46 trend and mould up a Hawker P.1216 in 1:48 to the level of the Rafale kits?

Here, here on the P.1216 front.  A 1/48 injection moulded (or resin) Hawker P.1121 would go down just perfectly as well.

In fact, a whole line dedicated to post war prototypes etc would be much appreciated.

Here, here!  I'll second this!

It's the wrong scale for our esteemed Administrator, but I'd love to see Anigrand collect some of their 1/144 extra kits to do a set of Hawker Prototypes:
P.1121, P.1127, P.1184, and P.1214-3

Evan, P.1121 is done by Whirlykits in resin now, mine is a vacuform though. Fantastic Plastic do a P.1214 in resin and I have a P.1216 which was mastered by Martin Higgs (over on the What-If forum).  I think I've read somewhere that there's a new tool P.1127 kit coming out

I was just looking at what Anigrand could do now with their existing molds.

I'm familiar with Martin's P.1216 (got one myself) and I intend to get the Fantastic Plastic kit come next overtime.  I've got at least one of the old Maintrack vac-form P.1121 kits in the remote southern stash (Whirlykits bought their molds). And I've got one of the Heritage pre-Kestrel P.1127's (not the first two prototypes that Airfix molded but not a full Kestrel, either) and I so want to get a Heritage trainer P.1127, or two, to do a TV-6B Kestrel trainer.  *chuckle* That pre-Kestrel P.1127 would look good done up as a VZ-12 in US Army testbed markings.

I have seen the resin 1121.. in fact i nearly bought one at Telford '12.. But the price put me off.. :/

Hence going for the more difficult but cheaper vacuform...

Dear Revell,
Please commission ACE in S. Korea to tool up an OV-10 Bronco To the level of your/their Rafales so we 1:48 builders can have a proper kit.
Thanks.

And if someone is going to do a good 1/48 OV-10, can we please have an aftermarket manufacturer do the bits and pieces for the unbuilt CV-10?

Armour - 1/35 Saladin, Saracen... (is there a Chaparral in 1/35?)

I'm fairly sure there was a 1/35th Saladin, by Tamiya or Fujimi, but it hasn't been re-popped for ages so it's pretty rare now.

How about some more obscure armour in whatever scale (but I'd like 1/72nd or 1/76th)?

Brazilian Engasa EE-11 Urutu 6x6 APC (used by Iraq in 1991)
Brazilian Engasa EE-9 Cascaval 6x6 Armoured Car
Austrian Steyr 4K7FA tracked APC (also built in Greece as the Leonides)
Austrian Steyr SK105 tank destroyer (Heller could do this since it uses an AMX-13 turret)
Swedish Pbv-302 APC (natural partner for all those S-tank kits)
South African Ratel 6x6 APC (now used in peace-keeping all over the world)

Tamiya and they used the turret on their M-113 FSV as well.
