Lots of work to reverse the drive shaft direction. Possibly a daft question but ... why couldn't the whole engine simply be turned back-to-front?I'm not certain, but I suspect the configuration of the cooling fins may make this the better direction

I hope that's just a hose and pump, because that looks like it can't carry more than a six pack worth of fluids.
