UPDATE ... got one thanks (two actually) both models underway, one as the Paris example which visited Glasgow during its sales tour, the other in Highland Airlines colours as per the display model at Weston
many thanks :)
On the lookout for an A Model Ka.26 Hoodlum (standard version, kit 7240), any leads please give me a shout or if anyone has one for sale/swopsies :)
iv a hankering to build the one demonstrated from Glasgow Airport following an appearance at the 1975 Paris Air Show. Ka.26, CCCP-26184, called at Speke, Liverpool, 14th September, following which it routed through from Southend/Rochford to Glasgow/Abbotsinch for further demonstration flights. Whilst in the UK. it was under the aegis of Helicopter Hire and being promoted by Scottish Aviation as a possible type for European use/licence production. I actually recall seeing it flying over my home one sunny afternoon back then (i thought it was a Huskie!)
cheers, Joe

That kit is still widely available and not too expensive.

Hmmm...it does seem rare.
I have a 1/48 one but that is safely hidden away.

Sorry, I had a brain fart - that particular version of the Ka-26 seems to be out of stock everywhere, even on Ukrainian sites. There are other AModel KA-26/KA-126/Ka-226 sill in stock, as least here:

Good luck Joe, I discovered a Hungarian YouTuber's channel with a ton of Ka-26 clips and fell in love with the type. If anyone wants to spend some happy hours in front of a screen (plenty of other types are featured): https://www.youtube.com/user/KamovRider/videos?disable_polymer=1 (https://www.youtube.com/user/KamovRider/videos?disable_polymer=1)
I have a 1/48 one but that is safely hidden away.
Remind me to hire a black ops team to infiltrate the GTX site.
