When will we be blessed with an F-86H in 1/48th scale?

I know, this seems like beating the proverbial dead horse but I have to ask.  Why beyond the 1/72nd scale F-86H and the OOP/OOB Collectaire 1/48th F-86H there is no normal injection moulded 1/48th scale F-86H for the rest of us to enjoy?

Good call.   Give it the NCC-1701 finish and markings.   The decals are available.

Yes !, Soviet Arctic vehicles are generally red, orange or yellow.

Pretty much on the same page, I am doing Orange

So, some construction work and really pretty much, this is about it. Some more greeblies perhaps

It helps that the vehicle is made from mostly flat planes.

I used these measurements from the RPF to calculate the scale: My estimation is - full length (nose to end of fuselage) is 23.2m, wingspan (from the fuselage center) is 26.4m, Height is around 4.7m

So your model looks like it's closer to 1/144.
