there is a story. It's located on Britmodeller in the What if section under the title "Lightnings over Africa". I haven't completed it though, but its all stored in my head!
^ THERE ya go!
Had this in my bookmarks for ages. Hope Gekko will continue the story :)
Particularly interested in seeing some profiles of that Wessex! And weren't there to be some Danish Drakens as well?
While the Burkina-be Lightnings look lovely, I hope you don't mind a little nitpick? In 1981 it was still called Upper Volta (Haute-Volta) with a red-white-black roundel.
Richard the TA-183 "Rhino" and F104 "Pus Pus" are awesome!, I didn't remember these...must have missed them first time around.
Those are lovely. I like the camo on the Somali one, especially. Think you can do a F-5 or AMX-type camo on a Brazilian one?Cheers,Logan
Hey, look who stuck his head in again!! Good to see you Richard. Love the Brazilian one. :)
If I never told you before, I absolutely adore your Canadian Navy Spey Phantoms. :)
I'll agree with GTX, I love the Brazilian one. As a whif, if they'd purchased a late-model Essex-class from the US, might the Brazilian Navy operated these?
Excellent profiles! Now, if only he would sneak in the proper colour codes for those schemes, we'd be hosting a tribute to Gekko with the physical renditions of his works.
