Polish captured Do-335 1:48
« on: November 01, 2012, 05:58:20 AM »
I'll join this GB with pleasure :) I began this project on whatifmodelers.com. Yesterday I got back to it and so...

Polish Do-335 nicknamed "Kania" (Kite in english-kind of bird of prey) was captured in April 1946 ,six months before the end of war. It was repainted, generally overhauled and rearmed (four wing m-g's instead of two cannons). It was included into Polish Air Forces and served as a wing commander plane. After minor upgrades it was capable to achieve 800 km/h.

Last, year's old photos:0

Planned result :)

Hope I'll finish it this time :)

That simply won't do!! What kind of website do you think this? one where you can just make up your own colors and rules based on your personal preference!!  ;D

Seriously though, I love the splinter camo

That's one first-class paint job and an entirely plausible scheme, too!

Excellent!
