It probably needs cooling vents/a fan housing on top/exhaust pipe just to be slightly more realistic.I think I have learned my lesson on this. Definitely going to avoid trying to improve the toy-like features completely. This was way more trouble than it was worth.
I am looking forward to the new MiniArt generator model that should be out soon.

Looking for Kits, Parts, and Decals / LF Italeri 1/35 M1A1 decals

I based my Lincoln suggestion on the RCAF's pair of Lancaster 10DC launch aircraft. Which reminds me, should anyone want 'that other scale', Belcher Bits offers a 1/72 KDA-1 kit with Lanc pylons.

And that raises a question: Did RCAF Lancaster 10DCs ever carry twin Firebees? IIRC, all the photos I have seen of KB848 and KB851 as 'DCs, show them carrying a single KDA-1 (despite twin pylons being fitted),
BTW, on the attached images, note that the Firebee is wearing USAF markings.
