Looks fine and correct to me.  Like minor weathering on sides.  Tarp is very "tarpy" as is should be.

Thanks for your comment guys  :D

Good to see you back mate.
Thanks Greg. I don't have a good production rate but I'm still looking at the forum time to time (even if I'm not really active  :-[ )

Next builds are programmed. The most advanced one is an Airbus A321 modified to become an Airborne Ground Surveillance System (based on the principe of Boeing E-8 Mercury and P-8AGS proposal)
But before, I have to finished an Argentina A-4B (almost done) and a Pakistan Mirage IIIEA (paint job will be done tomorrow if everything going well). I will post pics when they will be over ;)

Hi guys,

The last one : an A-4P from Airfix started 5 1/2 years ago.

Next one will be a real world Mirage III or a what-if F-35A, I'm not decided yet  ;D (both are already started since few years  :P)

Congratulations for finishing this one! ;)
(As far as I am concerned, I have cured my "never-finished" problem by decreasing my perfection standards to raw, crude models, satisfying enough for a photograph and indulgent people, no matter what experts may think)

Valiant effort on the Airfix A-4B   A bit too glossy, slats should be fully down (unless strapped up), speed brakes open half millimeter or so
Poor Airfix A-4B, that tarp should be bigger to hide Airfix's misshapen nose and rubbish overall detail.

Thanks for your comments.

FAAMAN, you are right for all points. I give reasons for those mistakes:
- the glossy is because I didn't varnish yet in satin because of temperature outside which is a bit cold in the evening and even in the day. So I wait for a window to varnish it when temperature will be better.
- For the slat, I was aware of that. The build was made quickly in one day during an exhibition so I could pratice painting with a friend in the second day. So no cockpit and no paint in the intake (that's why there is a tarp). I choose to not take in account these detail for the slat.
- I didn't know for this misshape. I don't know many thing about the A-4, only pick-up the first box of jet with low price in the exhibition retailler  ;D
But maybe one day I'll do another skyhawk in 1/48th thanks to this quick build  ;)

TOPHE, that's exactly what I will apply for the next coming model

The Airfix A-4B is awful, poor shapes and poor details  :o :o
I have an accurising thread on ATF ;   https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/airfixtributeforum/airfix-1-72-douglas-a4b-4p-skyhawk-a03029-t47356.html    , this details the many issues with the kit, so far the USN A-4B and the FAA A-4P
The Fujimi A-4's in 72nd are best, so are the ESCI 72nd A-4E's  ;)
Can't help you with 1/48 scale A-4's, I don't build in this scale.

I've always had a soft-spot for the F-5 and your model is a magnificent representation of this iconic aircraft.

Hi guys,

Here my currents projects in progress:

- [Real World] Rafale C & B of French Air Force (commissioned build, Hobbyboss 1/72):

The B will have closed canopy and will taxiing with 2 pilots onboard whereas the C will be on parking with ladder and opened canopy.

- [Whif] A321-MREP (Multi Role & ELINT Patrol) of the Emmeria Air Force (fictional country from Ace Combat video game) (1/144th Zvesda, custom decals)

It will receive a 1/72th ASTAC pod fitted under front section of fuselage.

As soon as those 3 are finished, I will continue to work on a Su-35 of the Ustio Air Force (same Ace Combat universe) in 1/48th

Hope you will like it. See you soon for the progress

Super fine F-5E build.  Right up there at "How could it be better point ?"   8)
F-5E is timeless.  Always looks contemporary.

Rafale should be finish in few days (deadline for the commissioned build), so you won't have to wait too long.

As indicated by Elmayerle, it's the 1/48 AFV Club F-5E. Originally, the Swiss box but I change my mind and someone provided me the Taiwan decals sheet from another box

I'm rather proud of the final results even if it will be not easy to have a similar results on next build as I was assisted on the paint job by a friend which have better paint tooling (HS Infinity 0.15mm airbrush vs chinese made airbrush in 0.2mm  ;D) and skills. So I will try to upgrade my tooling later this year
