You don't often see Royal Lao Air Force markings. ;D
The "handing" of the exhausts was because of the use of SA-7 MANPADS along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. ;)

Nice one Brian, I've had thoughts about doing something like that too.
Question though, did you have to stick the nacelle out further for some reason, just been looking at my Heritage conversion and I would have thought the front end would have been shorter -- just asking --

Not sure. I just matched the contours of the nose to the fuselage. It might be a visual illusion. Remember the F-82 fuselage is slightly longer than a P-51, so the nose might look longer 'cause the tail is.
Most remarkable thing was it was so much harder to do two fuselages. I'm used to only doing one and getting that to look right. Suddenly I had to repeat the exercise and make them identical. I also found removing the scoop and blending in the under fuselage 'plate" they supply relatively hard. Again, the F-82 is not a P-51, so there was a bit of fettling and puttying to get it to work.

A problem I have too

From what I understand, the F-82's belly scoop is about 2 feet longer (almost 3/8" or 10mm in 1/72) than what is found on a P-51D (the variant that the Cavalier conversion is for), I think I've read somewhere that it's more like the scoop from a P-51H but I'll have to check with the two kits I have of those to confirm that.
