What a fantastic concept!

After the paint is on I bet no one will guess the model wasn't molded like that.

Will enjoy following along,

May I suggest a larger tail or large ventral strakes to counterbalance the effect of that enormous proboscis? The Hunter tail simply isn't big enough to keep it all pointing into the wind.

New aircraft name: the "Hawker Proboscis".

Will add some strakes.

"Hawker Proboscis?"  Kind of generic.  Maybe name it after an insect, animal, or fish that is recognized by the large proboscis feature.

I'd like to add some info for you Carl, John Adams of Aeroclub fame, told me one time that he had made a discovery about the Matchbox NF.11/12/13/14 kit. He said that the radome intended to make the NF.14 was too long and that the NF.12 radome should be used. He said that what makes the NF.14 nose "look" longer was the fact that the windscreen in the windshield was actually set at a steeper angle to the other versions, which made the bottom edge of the windscreen sit further back towards the cockpit opening, with the top edge being where all the other versions have it.

So you could look at using the NF.12 nose instead.

Brilliant, I think it would have done for the Javelin.
