have since gone off IDF vehicles.
Pretty much the same for me too but knowing that the U.S. Army was actually field testing the Namer here in the states got my interest stirred up for that version at least.

I might even buy 2 of the Bradleys (one to pinch the interior from to put in something else). ;)

The Char 2C would make an awesome base for a scale-o-rama'd steam powered tank! :D

There's an in-box review of the kit on today's HYPERSCALE. The kit is not only fairly simple, but the MSRP seems quite low
for a subject this big. Here's the link :  http://www.missing-lynx.com/reviews/allied/mengts009reviewbg_1.html

I think a couple of smoke stacks and you would have the steampunk look pretty much done with that tank!

I thought it was a real 'what-if' so googled it.  Found that a few had actually been built -- amazing but obviously designed to circumvent trench warfare

Meng 1:24th scale Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab Kit First Look By Michael Benolkin at CyberModeler

Why 1:24th scale?  Meng had produced two very nice 1:35th scale commercial trucks (Niisan/Datsun and the Toyota) armed with weapons that were a step up from any other commercial vehicle model kit that had been previously offered by any other model manufacturer.  If they had continued with that trend, the F-350 kit would have been ideal for the association with the PMC/Mercenary groups that have been using similar vehicles in contested areas.  I would have preferred it in 1:35th scale for the zombie apocalypse/dystopian future potential thanks to all of the nice accessories available in that scale.  We can always hope that a scaled down F-350 will be produced to keep interest going from the armor modelers that work in that scale.

1/24th scale is very common for car kits.

and 1:25th scale too but looking at what Meng had already produced in 1:35th scale it would have been nice to see that F-350 in the same scale as the Datsun/Nissan and Toyota vehicles.

My guess they are after the lucrative Auto Modellers Market, which has been crying out for an F-350 for years now.
*Cricket noises*
Yeah, actually, I've never once had anyone ask me if there was an F-350 kit made.

Oh well.
