I see a red dot my forehead.

Okay. This one landed on the shelf-of-doom but I had a brain fart the other day on how to fix up some presentation issues. It should be done in 2 weeks.
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Look what fell off the shelf of doom and on to my bench.

While building the P-47s, I noticed that the Academy decals kinda fit the Meteor tail.

Using the USAAF F-8 Mosquito red tail paint scheme I took it one step further.

I regret putting the strips on the wings. Mr. Future will not let me take them off.

Blurry but it shows the tail decals.

Carl, you really are on a roll with all of these updates for your projects.  Keep them coming!  That is a very nice looking Reconnaissance Meteor you have created this time around.

I completely agree and I couldn't say it better!

I actually like the stripes on the wings. Hopefully they'll grow on you over time.

Very sagacious of you to select Do 335B-4 wings.  Never would have identified donor.
Is a beauty.

Woo Hoo!! It's done.

Here we have the Meteor PR.I.  Another modelling mantra of mine: The kit with the fewest decals always gets finished first.

I was going to use 108 Gal paper drop tanks but decided to raid my Matchbox NF.11 and took the large belly tank and the landing gear. The cameras are from a Quickboost kit. I left the faring silver as it was a field fix.

Decals are from various sources. The FAA / Techmod donated the squadron markings.

Finished with a brushed coat of Future.

@BdB: The wing strips don't look so out-of-place with the roundels on.

And it all comes together, magnificently so!

You could really gas-light a lot of people with this one, Carl.

I thought Kit had joined us a while back.  Might have that wrong and am thinking of someone else.  Don't forget to invite him to join too :)
