Until I get a chance to sit down and get some new work going I'll just post a link to some of my previous stuff.

Beauty! Here is how dumb I am. I have know you and your email for 4 + years now and I always read it as doomis land :-[
It never occurred to me that it was Doom Island . What a dumb arse I am though.
-
(http://www.doomisland2.com/images/avatars/pointlaff.gif) LOL!
-
Sorry, the link does not work on my computer, searching and searching then failing...
By the way, I did not know Doom was the name of an Island - a long time ago, while student, I was a subscriber of Newsweek magazine (to improve my English) and I remember a cover "are battleships doomed?" and my Oxford dictionary told me Doom means condemned to bad fate, oh poor Doom friend I wish you a good fate and successes...
-
I've loved your He-177 for an age! Plenty of other eye-candy there too.

Thanks Tophe, no need to worry...my fate is in my own hands. (http://www.doomisland2.com/images/avatars/701.gif)

Indeed. And who doesn't like Maple-Leafed MiGs or torpedo-carrying Lysanders on floats!
-
I'm rather partial to the Mexican Corsair. :-* Now, where to find such an eagle....

Excellent Typhoon............magic presentation :icon_alabanza:
-
I would love to see your rendition of a Carrier based Typhoon...maybe even for Indian Navy... :))
-

Indeed. Excellent effect!
-
Thanks all for the kind words, been so long it's gonna take a few of these to get back in the groove.

Greg, I might add that to my to-do list but it might take me a while before I can change up my line art. Other than beefier landing gear (which you can't see anyway) and an arresting hook, what other changes might be visible on a navalized version?
-
Well if you do it in a flying position you avoid a lot of that and could mainly just focus on the scheme.
-
Woah that's hot! Way to go Doom!!!

The link to 'Doomis land' don't work on my home computer. Now that I finally have access to the website, I recognize your excellent work Jeff!
Sorry I didn't realize you were the former profiler 'BlackOps'. :-[
You also did a very nice set of Harriers, where are they all gone?
Excellent Typhoon by the way (is this a MICA RF under the left wing?). :-*
-
Jose, I lost some of the profiles I had done in the past. Harriers were among them.
Yep, a MICA under the wing :)
-
As per Greg's request...did a little research and added conformal fuel tank, arresting hook, thrust vectoring nozzles, and beefed up the landing gear that you can't see ;)

Wow! Great work!
-
I completely agree! It looks great!
Cheers,
Logan
-
Top notch!
-
Winner! 8)
-
WOW!! You just upped the profiling standard Sir, that is wonderful!!
-
Thanks guys, feels pretty good to have been able to do some profiles, they have been few and far between the last couple of years.
-
So much detail. Do I see the RIO eating a Vegetable Pakora? ;D
-
Playing with the idea the the F-16 was a stepping stone to the F-35 and was upgraded as the F-16 ASTI (Advanced Stealth Technology Intigration.)
-
Very nice ASTI Falcon. About the only argument I'd have is the inlet, I think they'd go with a "productionized" version of the JIST testbed, formerly the AFTI-16 aircraft. It was basically a symmetrical version of the F-35 inlet mod'd onto the standard F-16 inlet.
-
Ah, very neat. It looks pretty.
Cheers,
Logan

I kind of faked it as I went along, now I'm going to have to look up the AFTI inlets and see what they look like. It was fun to think about what you could do to the F-16.
-
That should be the JIST inlet. Imagine the bottom portions of the F-35's inlets turned on their side and brought together with the side facing into the aircraft remaining that way. I know there are photos out there, but I'm not sure, off the top of my head, where.

DSI intake on the Viper fellas. (Divertless Supersonic Intake)
pic snatched from intrawebs
(http://www.hitechweb.genezis.eu/fightersAP07.files/lockheed_F-16DSI_divertless_supersonic_inlet_3.jpg)
-
Yep, that's it. I think I could find, with time, some other pictures of it if they were needed.
-
Cool - that intake in profile on F-16 is looking classy.
-
I love that F-16 ASTI, :-*
-
Nice and very different, in a good way! 8)

Alex

Can't fault that...

Wow I love these F-16 ASTI's Doom!!!

I have forwarded you an email re your profile ;)

Great profile
-
Been a while but I've got a new one to share. :)
-
Um~ cool Airacobra~ :)
Didn't realize you made Indian Navy Typhoon, too...... needless to say, I hit the save option due to its sheer awesomeness and such that coops213's ROCAF Typhoon would have a competition of some sort. Typhoon v.s. Typhoon...... :icon_beer:
-
F***in' Fantastic!!! Actually very believable too. :)
-
Great cobra :)
-
Woah! A Flying Tigers P-39? Why didn't I think of that?!!!
Amazing, Dr Doom!
Brian da Basher
-
Sweet!
-
Same thought here, so simple yet so righteous looking... why didn't I think of that.
Or a P-38 in flying tigers scheme. Thunderbolt ? ...
-
Thanks guys :D The AVG Cobra just felt right, knowing the AVG usually flew second hand aircraft and the P-39 was treated like a step child it seemed like a good fit.
