Title: PEDROSPE F-26
Post by: pedrospe on March 29, 2013, 12:03:47 AM
Hi everyone, this is another one of my old models, this model was based on the F-26 STALMA,but my aircraft is a bit different on the design, because it uses stealth features, and could carry weapons internally like the f-35,hope you like it.

Thanks a lot guys,I'm glad that you liked this model;finsrin, i was actually thinking on using the same system, used on a 1-144 scale ,f-14 or a Tornado kits from revell, but instead i used two simple pieces of plastic, cutted in a shape of a wing, but the must difficult part ,was to make the holes that attached the wings on the right place,so that they could swing backwards, but in the end,it came out OK.

I just noticed that that first picture makes it look like everything folds up for storage !!!  Neet looking build but I have one question, where do you get all those airframes you use as a base ?  Do you have a chicken who lays you a new one every day of what ???  Lol!!!   BTW, what is the basic aircraft you have been using ?

Hi everyone, once more thanks a lot for all your kind comments,to answer your question father ennis, for many of my models,i use the basic airframe of the f-22 or f-35 on the 1-144 scale, mostly for the dimensions, but when i plan a model ,since all of then are unique,i try to "redesign" the airframe so that it suits my aircraft projects, and after everything is finished, you can see a complet new design, hope this helps.

There's a good reason he's called 'The King of Expanded Polystyrene': all his 'kits' are made from that foam that taxidermists use!!

And they are awesome...
