Looking at the few kit reviews on-line with images of the kit parts for the Lansen A32A and A32B.  The stores pylons are provided in both kits but in different locations.  A32A has the stores pylons attached to the parts runner with the left and right fuselage halves while the A32B has the stores pylons on the parts runner with the left and right horizontal tail surfaces.  Are these stores pylons identical?  Image quality for me is not showing me the details by which a determination can be made.  Anyone out there with better information?  I would appreciate your help.

Thanks,

The instructions show exactly the same parts layout, the only real difference is in the resin seats:
http://www.tarangus.se/a32a-lansen/instructions-ta4801/

http://www.tarangus.se/coming-soon-j32-lansen-fighter/instructions-ta4802-saab-j-32b-lansen-148/

Anyhow it appears the major differences between the A and J were equipment related/internal.
Realistically you could build either from the same kit.

Thanks Jon, was not sure as the kit review image for the A32A had the parts on the runners as shown in the parts diagrams and the image for the A32B had the tail parts and pylons on a separated parts runner that was not inside of the two fuselage halves.  Image quality was not the best for either review and since both quantities were identical I was not confident that these parts were the same or different.  So the only differences between the kits is the seats, decals and box art.

Ah Greg, Bob just sent me this photo.  He said you should have someone home on Friday to accept a skid of Viggens.

Via the Tarangus Facebook page. The JA 37 Viggen in 1/72 is being delivered! Find your kit at your local hobby shop or buy it directly from our webshop!

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Can't be Greg's, they're in 1/72 wrong scale!

Errr...I know Bob and the only reason he would do something such as that would be to remove the 1/72 abominations from circulation...he needs some more things to chew on after all.

I am sorry to report that both of the 1/48th scale Saab Lansen kits from Tarangus are extremely disappointing.  I purchased one of each (A32A and J32B) with the intentions of trying to build a subtle what-if that would represent a similar aircraft subject (the NAA YF-93A/F-86C Sabre).  This plan did not involve anything major in the way of modifications so it should have been a very simple build process.  I was wrong.  Neither of these kits is worth the MSRP that I paid for the things.  Classic Airframes did a better job with their line of kits and that says a lot when it comes to how a kit goes together.  In the case of the Tarangus Lansens (A32A and J32B) kits this was a stellar failure on their part in not providing anything on the kit that would have made ease of assembly simple.

After fighting with the A32A Lansen kit for the better part of a year I opted to abandon the kit and gave it away.  I took up the J32B Lansen kit and proceeded with my what-if plans several months ago and this project was terminated last night in a fit of rage as I realized that this kit too was a fail no matter how careful I had been in putting it together.  So save your money, get the far cheaper HobbyBoss Lansen kit if you absolutely have to have a Saab Lansen in your sights, the HobbyBoss kit is the better choice and far more affordable.
