If you have anything you think will inspire others, post it here to get the creative juices flowing.
Never trust a man who tells you that you have too many paints, for he is obviously a liar and will most likely try to deceive you again in future.

So, would a Rhodesian Harrier be a fair subject?

Absolutely! While not African-designed, it would be in service with an African nation so that would be totally
fine.

i was thinking of building a BAe Hawk T.1 as a Rhodesian Air Force light fighter/attacker, as a replacement for the Hunter and Vampires in RRAF service. maybe in a 2-tone grey camo, introduced in the 1990's with low-vis roundels? maybe later Hawk 100's?
on the bench:
-various models

on the drawing board:
-various 1/72 TinTin aircraft
-1/72 Eurocopter Tiger (Belgian Army)
-various other 1/72 and 1/144 aircraft

I built this with the idea it was used in Africa (or somewhere like that) by the RAF

It's always a great pleasure to see one of your finished models and this one has some of the most appropriate African jungle camo around!

Most excellent, Robert!

Found some post-1974 Imperial Ethiopian vehicles I built some time ago & thought they might inspire someone.

Excuse the P-Bucket watermarks - I haven't gotten around to replacing these images in their original posts ................ yet? ???

Mecar 90mm gunned LAV-150;

Cockerill 90mm gunned LAV-150;

M-60;

Hope someone finds them a useful source of ideas! :smiley:

Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Twenty year old build (since given away) of a SADF Oliphant 1A MBT.

Mostly a 1:35th Tamiya Centurian, with most of the rest sourced from an (ESCI?) M60 kit.

Found a source of decals for Hunters of Rhodesia/Zimbabwe at various times, may find their way onto a Harrier or two.
