Mini Dioramas
« on: June 09, 2017, 10:38:36 AM »
My Figure painting skills do not extend much past what I used to do for my wargaming miniatures, I find however they really relax me more than other modelling tasks.  So have recently produced these 3 mini diorama scenes.

First up is Masterbox's US Cavalry Scout and Tracker

Next Masterbox's Zombie set.  Broke one of the zombies and gave up trying to fix it.  Alice's legs got lost so had to build a new set for her from another kit.  Bike is from the Tamiya Japanese military police set.

And the 3rd is NorthStarModels Beneath the Pyramid

Nice work! :)

I have the top one ... but I intend whiffing it. ;)

Your figure painting skills sure look top-notch from here!

Most excellent and perhaps a case study in less is more?

Good stuff!  :)

When I saw the box-arts for Masterbox's Civil War and Indian War series, I thought they might make a great basis for some post-apocalyptic dioramas.
Cheers,

Great work on all the figures! The Cavalry Scout and Tracker and the Zombies look especially good.
