Type 69 'Angie'
« on: October 05, 2013, 09:01:00 PM »
Back when I played 40k I made a female Imperial Guard army, the centre piece of which was  a pink tank.  I always regretted selling that army, so here is its return to part of it, a pink Type 69 tank.

Looks like a humanized version of Mike Sagara's Tank Vixens comic.

Hah - excellent: and very "realistic" of course:

Was this your WH40K tank?

Well I'll be damn! I was just visiting my stash the other day to find a T55 for a pink tank project. Beaten to the punch again! ;D

At any rate, that's a really nice pink tank and the inclusion of the crew (I recognize at least a couple Aurora Models figures there) is a nice touch. Obviously, the driver has decided to go for "ultimate comfort" in the hot cramped confines of the front hull. ;)

Thanks for the comments fellas.
The figures are from a couple of different companies.  The commander is from Black Dog, the girl kneeling and the one sitting on the barrel are, as Jacques mentioned, Aurora.  The Driver is Legend.
The commander and kneeling girls I got from BNA model world here in Australia.  The girl on the barrel from Aurora via ebay and the driver from a website in the UK, but I can't remember the name of it.
