Interesting study and fine drawings.  Bit longer flight deck using Hood !

Interesting.  A slight twist might also be to have the sister ships (Anson, Howe and/or Rodney) completed as such rather than cancelled.

Some more possibilities, this time based on HMS Ark Royal (there is 1/600 model by Airfix) with two hybrid options.
