Darn Burster
« on: January 30, 2014, 01:04:39 PM »
In the latest Nick park/Aardman film, Wallace and Gromit are in the thick of it! Facing a hostile housing council, they are forced to move to the countryside, where they discover a neighboring county is planning on flooding the valley with a new dam project. Throw in some old familiar faces, and you have another rousing celebration of English life and stop-motion hilarity.

Here we see the old sidecar-plane, retasked to undertake a new, top secret mission: Drop spinning rounds of cheese and barrels of lager into the side of the offending dam, breaching it and allowing the flooded valley to become high and dry again.

And here's the poster for the film, or "movie" as the Americans are fond of calling them....

Kits used were the Airfix Wallace and Gromit Sidecar, Minicraft 1/144 Lancaster, and the old Revell Dambuster Lancaster for the "Shape".

Cheese, Gromit! We're out of cheese! Oops, wrong movie. This is so cool! I love it, big time. I hope this is the master for a new Airfix model. Well done, sir! :-* ;D

You could give him one of those Y-shaped range gizmos they used and a plumb bob for height finding.....

Wonderful.

I can hear Wallace saying to Gromit: "Gromit, do you think Wensleydale cheese is good enough to break a dam? Or should we go with Swaledale?"
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

That could lead into a whole montage of Gromit flying shapes to test various cheeses, while Wallace sits on a folding beach chair and eats the failures.

Seeing that bomb, think it looks right to change dimensions and mass produce as toilet paper roll holder  ;)
Is time to have it on market for next Christmas.
