Didn't even know of this kit until Friday (1/6) saw it for first time at model shop.  Bought two for stash and will follow what you guys do.  Never would have thought of making it a sort of U-2.  Lotz of other builds lined up, can let this one sink into the old grey cells for a while.

hiyas, good idea, i have copied the nose missile from the UFO. Interceptor so does make sense, i should be back at the modelling bench over the coming week so heres hoping a bit further forward with my ongoing builds

Going back, here is another and different treatment of Angel Interceptor.
First long wing at BTS.  Looks good, looks right :)      Thinking 7x,xxx ft altitude.
I would like to build a long wing higher altitude version of something.  Don't know what yet.

I'm showing my age here, but a "space angel" simply has to have Scott McCloud shown as the pilot.  For those who aren't aware, "Space Angel" was an animated series from the early 1960's, from the same folk who brought you "Clutch Cargo", and the main hero was named Scott McCloud, whose nickname/operative codename was "Space Angel".

Yeah, I think that was something to do with a limited animation to keep costs down.  As a kid I didn't mind it, now, though,...
