From the date, would an assumption of AS.30s and/or rocket pods as the main armament be reasonable? Or would they more likely just be carrying iron bombs?

Heh! I went into the storage part of the house to see if Airfix' 1:48 SuE and Bucc S2B were still there. Yes they are! :) :) :) The Bucc is about 1/3 done with most of the hard stuff out of the way including the NeOmega cockpit. I really like that tri color Israeli machine and SuE!

Yes, the SuE is the Super Etendard's nickname.

I really like the German Etendard and Super Etendard profiles. They look like they belong in those schemes.

So...next load of sketches....

My friend built Spitfire Mk.XIV (Academy 1:72) like a RAF High altitude Long Range Fighter.....for support of USAAF bombers....and I make scheme for this..... This Spit carried two paper drop tanks (108 gal.) under wing and large "Spitfire belly tank" under fuselage...
I hope,that pics of completed model come soon
