Those markings are such a great fit on a Corsair that I'm sitting here stunned I've never seen it before!

I very much enjoyed these profiles, especially the ones in a 3 color scheme!

Mr Gimper, I'll await with happy anticipation your bringing this one into the 3rd dimension!

This three-colour scheme is my own work.... with some inspiration of the shapes of poles by Finnish Ilmavoimat WW II schemes....the others are inspired by post WW II Czechoslovak Air Force planes.... namely this last all-green with Diana draw on engine....simply "copy" of real Avia S-199  ;) :D
But... one three colour scheme is under work now... and this is more foolish.... but lovely too  ;)

Beautiful!!  BTW, that Martlet wouldn't be a F4F-3 version without the folding wings, would it?  I can see saving some weight if you don't need to fold for storage.
