1/35 Special Forces figure
« on: June 14, 2020, 02:35:38 AM »
For this one I used a Live Resin Airframe helmet and it came with the head with sun glasses and balaclava. I left off the chops though.

I also used a Live Resin SCAR-L rifle.

The camo is Cross Delta Multiple Theater Camo decals.

Figure gloss coated to protect the decals and paint.

Figure flat coated. I still need to paint the SCAR rifle and place it on a small dio base.

What paints did you use?

The black is Vallejo acrylic polyurethane surface primer. All the other colors are Vallejo Model Color acrylics. The camo pattern are decals though from Cross Delta.

Damn nifty!  Always amazes me that decals work so well for camouflage. I'd probably go mad trying to apply them, though. :icon_twisted:   ;D

Thanks everyone!

Moritz, yes, the decals take a lot of patience. My first time took me over 4 hours to do one figure. It gets easier the more you do though. It still takes time and patience though but I am at around 2 hours now per figure.

I cut the decals into small pieces. Easier to apply that way. Here is an example showing the small pieces I cut the decals into.
