Gerti is a well used Wellington so I have done some basic wear and tear on the airframe and also distressed the decals a bit so they don't look pristine.

Here are a few photographs showing Gerti Close to completion.

The Decals are on......

Gerti gets her name.......

Each letter of Gerti's name was cut and positioned individually, it took ages!  also did my eyes in as even with some magnifiers I was working at the very edge of my vision.

So now I present to you for inspection Gerti, the V1 throwing Wellington

I really did have some fun with this one and have started eyeing up other battered kits for a bit of whiffing treatment, unfortunately life and work will now get in the way as I will be working away from home, dragged screaming from my workbench, and will probably miss the next group build.

Heavy Sigh........

Anyways thanks for looking, All comments and criticism gratefully accepted, as always.

Wow what a phenomenal piece of work, Mog!

Those plates look fantastic! You've got some mad metal weathering skills!

It looks good! The twin tails remind me of a Japanese Nell bomber.
