Had one a Series II Vietnam Landrover on the list for a while, finally knuckled down whilst waiting for bits and pieces on the Fairmile Build.
So based on this pic
This pic is a bit weird as it has two lots of GS seating and a semblence of the radio table (you can just make out a GRC-160 vehicle mount) of the early FFR the Army used in Vietnam. So that meant some guess work
I started with the Italeri SAS Pink Panther as the basis of the Series II.
Not that much to do, cut down the front guards and remove doors and tailgate, which was very standard for Aust Army Landrovers in Vietnam.
Add the empty tool brackets, build a new windscreen (not supplied in the kit I had..grrr) and a brushguard. Also used the Mousehouse Landrover Barred tread wheels.
So after that, it pretty much become a painting exercise
