Two new ones - both in 1/35 and both look real enticing...

I have been interested in a 12.8cm Flak 40 Zwilling for some time so this makes me very happy.

Yup. I have wanted one of these for over 10 years.

Good thing I didn't start on my Emhar kit! Until I saw the internal drawings, I would always forget which end is the "front" on the Whippet.

So, why no Chieftain of the specific Mark I want to build...?  ;D And why no FV 432 and variants?

You know it never really ends! I am pleased to hear about the Chieftain though.

Thanks, mate! :)

I think the Tamiya Mk.5 was the 1st 1/35th tank I ever built. Be nice to see how this one compares (guess = more complex but more accurate).

The "FUG" is available. I have one, and begin to build. 300 parts, this small vehicle!  Have a look in the box here:

And here is a real vehicle:

And when you will see something about the Luchs, look here, and some help with build:

The Mk10 in the Berlin urban scheme looks the goods, very very tempting, may need to finish some current projects so I can buy one under the domestic stock rotation agreement.

I think the outriggers are overkill...unless of course they are designed for squashing Sherman tanks that get too close!

When I was younger I thought the Challenger, Abrams, Leopard 2, Leclerc looked fantastic while the Centurion, Chieftain, Leo 1, M-60 etc. were old and boring, now in my dotage I'm leaning the other way and coming up with excuses to buy (and I promise to, one day, build) the 50s, 60s and 70s vehicles.  I find I am feeling the same about aircraft as well, yes the new stuff is better and when you look at it more long lived but the older gear just has something about it, a style or lets say character that the new stuff doesn't seem to have.  All a matter of perspective though.
