RAAF captured Kübel, Nth Africa ... the flag on the door is not photoshop.
The vehicle is an early 1940/41 model - see the early external mount for the horn, idiot-arms on windscreen sides & wider, rounded rear mudguards.

This recce Kübel with IR devices was captured in '45 - I think it was part of a Panther group that was equipped with IR.

Guess you'd have to cut down or remove the doors anyway but unfortunately the Kübel is too weak & under-powered, which is why the Waffen used the bigger 4x4 Steyr & Horch for similar duties -- tho I haven't seen a heavily-armed SAS-style model done so far ....... maybe a Protz or Mercedes G4 might be a possibility too ;)
