Hello!
I have a aviation-themed alt-hist timeline on the go here

In short: Aircraft collector with de Havilland Venom, Hawker Sea Fury & P-51 Mustang (and a Cessna and an Enstrom helicopter) is sent back to May 1939 [a parallel universe were some things have gone very wrong]
Breaks air speed record twice, once with Sea Fury, then with the Venom.
Tries to change government policy: fails.
Tries to banish Air Ministry/War Office complacency:fails
Tries to get versions of Sea Fury/Venom/Mustang built, and cannon-armed Spitfires into service: partially succeeds.
this part of the story only goes as far as July 1940 [France falls, Norway doesn't]
Part II [which is still being written] will cover Battle of Britain to Pearl Harbor.

Great stuff! A very interesting concept. I'm in as far as the meeting with Sinclair and Menzies, and it's holding up quite well.
