Title: Hawker (Sea) Hawk, Royal Iraqi Air Force
Post by: TimJ on July 12, 2014, 11:57:13 PM
I was thinking that as the Iraqis flew the Fury and Hunter what if they'd flown a de navalised Sea Hawk before the Hunters were delivered. So, with an Airfix Sea Hawk and a sheet of Iraqi markings this is what I came up with.

Concur! Looks a natural in that camo & marking scheme which is wonderfully executed!

I really like the load-out too which compliments it nicely!

Very plausible concept, a natural step between Hurricanes and Hunters, and a beautiful build.
