How about using something like Milliputt for sculpting the cockpit area. You wouldn't need much and once dry, you could scribe in the lines.

heh About the scribing
I don't have the tools to really do it.
That's also another reason why I took this route.
Milliput huh? I used Aves apoxie sculpt which works very well.

I'm back, I've actually been building two aircraft. The other is an F-15A in 318th FIS markings. Still WIP
More pics

I'm drawing the markings by hand so it won't be 100%.

Then here's the Eagle, all painted with a brush. No sprays

Thanks,
Michael

Hand drawing these emblems wasn't easy. But it looks good to me.
I'll begin painting the bottom of the engine nacelles tonight.
Note: After I downloaded the pics I realized an error on the bird emblem.
The nose was too long so I shortened it. It's now closer to the real one.

It's done!
Thing came a long way. Totally worth it though
It's sitting on a stand proudly in my room.

Now with Ace Combat 3's F-15SMT+

Thanks for looking,
Michael

It only took me 14 years to finally get this big bird.
The sheer power of it is what caught me.
Flanker is meta and I enjoy it.
