A two-seat Sabre in 1/48th scale would be nice to see some day.  The only one that I have knowledge of went out of business/production years ago but maybe some day soon...
I have a 1/48 Fox 3 Studios TF-86 Conversion in the stash
I eMailed Gerry Asher/FOX 3 Studios fourteen years ago (2012) and was informed that they are now OOP with no current plans to bring it back into production and nothing further has come from that correspondence.   :(

Scale-O-Rama.  Mate the 1/35th scale SCUD TEL with the 1/72nd scale SS-20 Sabre missile container and it might be an easy what-if.

One could potentially create something from this kit:

Replace the original SCUD missile with a large cannister of similar dimensions to the original missile and call it an upgrade to a new weapon system that was designed to replace the SCUD missile.  As for physical details, well, leave that to their collective imaginations.
So, almost like the RSD-10 Pioneer/SS-20 Saber?
Pretty much but with eight wheels and a substantially shorter missile container.

All depends on how they will be employed.

Much the same as the Leopard 1s are being used I would suspect:

All depends on how they will be employed.  "Move out and draw fire" might have worked thirty years ago but that practice might not go as well today.  That said, "Reconnaissance by fire" should still be on the menu.  There is also the larger ammunition selection to consider such as actual HE rounds in addition to HEAT, WP, APDS, APFSDS.  The ammunition stocks are also plentiful and that could make a real difference.

The small fin at the rear of the Sabre looks like a simple solution to the stability issues that the forward mounted electronics pod would have created.  Simple and effective.
