I really like the Rooikat in 1/35. Wish someone would produce an injection molded plastic kit of it.
-
Very interesting...might need to investigate further?
-
I'm actually rather surprised that Trumpeter has overlooked SADF vehicles.
-
I have the Aerographix G6 Rhino.
It is simplistic in detail by current standards and the detail fairly soft. Instructions are near on non existent.
Although it was a very early version of the kit that I have so perchance later releases have been updated.
-
I already have the BaxMod G6 so am happy on that front. Am primarily interested in the Rooikat 105 and the Cactus SAM.
-
Rooikat looks great, also a fan of the Centuro but definitely prefer the Rooikat. Always thought it would be a good RAAC CAV vehicle, maybe a mix of 76 and 105mm versions.
have a long term diorama project for a hypothetical RAR battle group support company Leopard AS1 support, Strv 103 anti tank/dfs, M113 MRV rec. With cool stuff like this I could make some changes, maybe the tracks all belong to the RAR Mech/Armd Infantry and the wheels belong to the attached CAV Troop. Thinking a preaction orders group.
Great looking stuff, how did the G6 build up buzzbomb and Greg, or is that a stupid question?

I will let you know once I get to it...which may be a while yet given the way workload is increasing :(

Need an off site , CM, QA and Certification expert with a Lean Six Sigma background to help out?

Believe it or not but we recently advertised for someone like that...

Serious, could I work remotely and have two or three months off from June? ;)
Timing, always timing, but long term I would love to make the move to aviation.
Did you have much to do with AEAs in your previous life, my brothrr has applied to join up as one?
-
Unfortunately, the job closed a few weeks ago(trust me, I checked before posting).
Had a bit to do with AEAs though its been over a decade now.
-
I have a Trumpy LAV-25 that is going to be modded along the lines of the Rooikat/Centauro as a USMC infantry support/light armor hunter-killer.
Did the currency conversion for that Rooikat, and it's not nearly as bad a price as I thought/feared...too bad LemonJello Industries is under sequestration until the Lady of the Manor says otherwise.

hes already applied and has some prelim medicals and interviews lined up. Its what he wants to do so is prepared to wait rather than get stuck in a mustering he doesn't want. Basically I was just looking for some info to help him research and look smarter come the selection phase so seeking advice from someone cluier than me.
He's a smart bloke but just had a couple of dead end almost careers, think the RAAF would suit him and see him reach his full potential. Glad hes giving it a go.

Err... no..

Keep starting it again and putting away in disgust with having the replace stuff .
As a desktop type model.. it would be ok.. but as a current kit.. I am struggling
It is not trivial in size either

Something will happen to it one day :D

Oh that does look nice, bit of cleaning up to do but look like they got the shape right, just need to hope Claymore or Queeg don't rush one through and demoralise the rest of us with their perfection before anyone else get the chance to have a go. ;D
