The Delanne 10 C has a superb shape.

I thought it deserved to be tried out with a float equipment.

I susally paint my models in blue, yellow or red, so that just their aerodynamics and shape are highlighted ;
this time, as an exception, i used orange

Maybe there is too much scratchbuilding to build them though... More easy tandem-winged Mustangs could be like this:

Nice idea!

I remember the Hasegawa 1/72 kit for the Zero floatplane with a water-diorama (a kind of clear resin base with the main float and a secondary float in water) : it also has a figure of a pilot in swimming suit, hold a ... fishing cane !

So your idea seems doable, provided you find the ingerdients

I know only of a 1/72 kit for the Delanne, but not 1/48.

I asked Google pictures "Lysander Delanne model" and got almost nothing, is your one full scratchbuilding? It seems it would be the third Delanne-Lysander model ever made in the World... (and the very first one with civilian colours)
