Title: Masterpiece Models
Post by: GTX_Admin on April 04, 2013, 07:35:59 PM
An interesting company i came across recently.

I am especialy interested in some of their services here:  http://www.masterpiecemodels.com/ (http://www.masterpiecemodels.com/)

They also produce some very interesting kits: http://www.masterpiecemodels.com/kits/ (http://www.masterpiecemodels.com/kits/)

I especially like their 1/35 United States Navy Patrol Air Cushion Vehicle:

As well as some of their Scifi kits.

Love to see that concept adapted to a patrol gunboat derivative of the LCAC.

I picked up one of these kits from the North Olympic Plastic Scale Modelers show at Fort Worden last year: 1:35th scale Masterpiece Models M3A2 Utility Hand Cart (kit number MMUTL001)

See attached image below (for the box top).  A very nice little logistics asset :)

*Edit to fix missing image - original Masterpiece Models web link is now unavailable with the claim that the page is currently "under construction" which caused the original hot-linked image to disappear.

Going to include a tough as nails paratrooper commander with a busted leg for a diorama?  :D

Cheers,

Logan

Nope.  If anything it will be loaded up with gear but not for WW2.

That could have been FinsRin this morning when the sales clerk had to use a hand truck to move his purchases out to his car :)

I would love to buy his riverine vessels but, like all resin kits, the price ($180 - $200, US, I assume) is too steep for my budget. :icon_sueno:
