Terry Ashley has updated the product list for Tamiya with an image of the box art for the Tamiya T-55 kit with additional parts for the 1/35th scale Iraqi Tank T-55 "Enigma"(kit number 35324).

So with Tamiya supposedly releasing a two-seater IL-2 soon, it would be a hoot to build one up in USAF SEA colors.
Stiff upper lip when verbally talking about the kit to another modeller:  Yep it's the Tamiya kit.  Then watch the eyes of the listener closely as either a spark of humor or shock of waste sets in.

But thanks to Jeffry via Alvis, a beautiful single seat IL-2 resides already in Ye Proper Stasche.

Perhaps a "warbird" IL-2 with an Allison engine the same as some of those 'new build" Yaks out there?
